The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) earned PHP64.41 billion (US$1.01 billion) in the first nine months of 2026, down 23.41% on the same period last year. Most of the decline came from electronic gaming.
Electronic gaming revenue dropped 37.23% to PHP27.63 billion (US$433.8 million), from PHP44.03 billion (US$691.2 million) a year earlier.
Licensed casinos, PAGCOR’s second-largest source of income, held up better. They contributed PHP23.10 billion (US$362.7 million), a 3.22% decrease from PHP23.87 billion (US$374.9 million). PAGCOR’s own Casino Filipino branches brought in PHP7.28 billion (US$114.3 million), down 8% from PHP7.91 billion (US$124.2 million).
PAGCOR chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco attributed the fall to:
“weaker earnings from gaming operations and related services.”
He said the regulator would keep focusing on responsible operations and enforcing regulatory standards.
